Features

Everything Crateseek does, from a pasted link to a USB that works

Search Soulseek for lossless music by name or link, keep one analysed cloud library, build sets, and export to the formats Serato, rekordbox, CDJs and Engine OS expect.

Find

Soulseek for DJs, without the client

Crateseek runs an always-on Soulseek node. You describe the track; it resolves it, searches, verifies and shows you the best copy.

Type it or paste it
Fuzzy song names work. So do track links from Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Tidal and Bandcamp.
Resolve first, search second
Before touching Soulseek, Crateseek works out the exact recording — artist, title, duration — so results are for the right track, not the right words.
FLAC first, then 320
Candidates are ranked by quality: lossless FLAC ahead of 320 kbps MP3, with free upload slots and fast peers preferred.
Verified copies
Each candidate is checked against the resolved track's title and duration. Where a fingerprint match exists, an AcoustID check confirms the recording.
No client, no port, no share folder
The node is always online, forwards its own port and shares everything back to the network, so your downloads never make you a leecher.
Search inside a set
Open a set, search, save — the file downloads straight into that set and into your library.

Library

A cloud library with a BPM and key analyzer built in

Every saved or uploaded track is analysed the same way and filed where you'd expect to find it.

BPM and key analyzer
Tempo plus musical key, shown in Camelot and Open Key side by side and written into the files as tags.
Loudness and waveform
Integrated loudness so you can match levels before the mix, and a waveform for every track.
Automatic genre folders
Tracks are sorted into genre folders on arrival; no manual tagging to keep a library browsable.
Sort and filter
By BPM, key, genre and length — the four things you actually search a crate by.
Format at a glance
FLAC, WAV, AIFF, 320 MP3 and M4A badges on every track, so you know what you're about to put on a stick.
One shared copy
Files are content-addressed and stored once across all users. Your library references the file; nothing is duplicated.

Sets

Sets you can build from the library or from a search

A set is a playlist that knows it will end up on a USB stick.

Create, rename, delete
As many as you need; one per gig, one per genre, one per hour of the night.
Drag-and-drop ordering
Reorder with a drag handle. The order is what gets numbered on export.
Add from the library
Filter the library by BPM and key, then drop tracks into the set you're building.
Search from inside a set
Found something new? Search without leaving the set; the download lands in it.
Spotify, in early access
Connect Spotify to see your playlists and Liked Songs and pull them into sets. Spotify's developer rules limit this to a small number of invited users while the integration is in development mode.

Export

USB export for Serato, rekordbox, CDJs and Engine OS

Export a set or your whole library to a stick straight from the browser, with the files and playlists every target expects.

Straight to USB from the browser
In Chrome or Edge, pick the stick and Crateseek writes files directly. Other browsers download a zip with the same layout.
Folder per set + M3U8
Numbered files in play order under Music/<Set>, with a UTF-8 M3U8 playlist for Traktor, VirtualDJ and rekordbox desktop.
Serato crates
Crates written to _Serato_/Subcrates with relative paths. Plug the stick into Serato DJ and they're there.
rekordbox.xml for CDJs
One playlist per set in rekordbox's XML format. Import it, then use rekordbox's own Export to USB for waveforms, grids and a device database.
Engine OS
Denon and Numark players browse the folders on any exFAT or FAT32 stick and analyse BPM and key on load.
Tags in the files
BPM and key travel as tags, so every application shows the same numbers you saw in the library.

Player

Stream any track in the browser

Audition without downloading anything to your laptop.

Scrub-able waveform
Click anywhere to jump. Listen to the breakdown, not the intro.
BPM, key and loudness in view
The numbers you need to decide where a track goes stay on screen while it plays.
Plays from the library and from sets
Same player everywhere; it follows you while you build.

Upload

Bring the music you already own

Purchases, promos and your own edits live in the same library as everything else.

FLAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3 and M4A
Upload from your computer; the same BPM, key, genre and loudness analysis runs on every file.
Same library, same sets, same export
Uploaded tracks sort, filter and export exactly like downloaded ones.
Stored once
If a file you upload already exists in the system it's recognised by content, not re-stored.
